Why Ticketing
No seat sold twice
The chosen seat is held on the server for that cart. Other registers see it taken right away, and the database refuses a second sale of the same seat for the same showing.
Showings that never overflow
Each showing has its capacity. When it is full, the register refuses the ticket as soon as it is added, with a clear message.
A price per audience and per showing
Adult, child, senior, student: each showing carries its price grid. A matinee and an evening show can have different prices.
Tickets you can verify offline
Every ticket carries a unique number and a signed QR code. A register checks that it is genuine without the Internet.
Seats kept during a reservation
A sale put on reservation (RV number) keeps its seats until it is paid or canceled.
Refunds free the seat
A refunded ticket puts its seat back on sale.

- Ticket numbers (BI) that never collide between registers, even offline.

Questions about Ticketing
What happens if the network goes down during a sale?
The register keeps selling from its local copy. Seats and capacity are only guaranteed online: when the network comes back, a seat sold elsewhere in the meantime is flagged to the cashier. The offline sale stays recorded.
Can I check tickets at the gate?
A register checks that a ticket is genuine, even without the Internet. Access control that refuses an already used ticket is planned, not delivered yet.
Can I draw my own seating plan?
Yes. StillDeep knows the seats and their state; your screen draws the plan its own way. The Ticketing and Cinema example clients show how.
Must every showing have a capacity?
No. A showing without a capacity, in an open venue, has no limit: admissions are counted without blocking the sale.
Which length should I choose?
One week for a festival or a run of shows, one year for a venue open all year.
