Why Services
The right slots only
A slot is offered when an employee is scheduled for the service's duration and buffer, and belongs to the required group.
Never two appointments at once
The database refuses two overlapping appointments for the same employee, even when booked at the same moment on two registers.
The right to sell, not only to deliver
An item can require a staff group: the engine refuses the sale to a cashier outside it.
A deposit that holds the slot
An appointment booked with a deposit becomes an RV reservation, with its balance, picked up on the day of the service.
Simple for a one-person shop
No group to set up when one person delivers every service; groups help from two specialties on.
Schedules that repeat
Rotation patterns over several weeks, a work schedule per employee, holidays.

Questions about Services
Do my customers get a reminder?
Not yet. Customer reminders are planned.
Can I book without a registered customer?
Yes. A name is enough for a walk-in. The "link a customer" box is ticked by default and can be unticked.
What happens if I make a service longer?
Appointments already booked keep their end time. Only new appointments take the new duration.
What if I remove an employee's shift?
Their appointments stay, flagged to be rescheduled. Nothing disappears.
Which length should I choose?
One month for a peak period, one year for a salon open all year.
