# Restaurant and bar POS software

## Licenses

Prices before taxes, for one register. A license lasts its length (1 week, 1 month or 1 year) from its purchase and can be moved from one register to another.

## Why Bars and restaurants
### Short gestures
The same item adds up on its line, "12*" before the scan sells twelve, and one tap on the payment method takes the balance.
### Split bills
Equal shares, from 2 to 20, or any amount; the last share settles the invoice to the cent.
### Tips counted
A tip is a line of the sale, and the Reports dashboard shows the total to pay out to staff.
### Cash without hesitation
Quick amounts (the next $5, $10, $20, $50 or $100) and the drawer opens as soon as cash is paid.
### Bar inventory
Bottles and ingredients tracked per warehouse, in an inventory of their own for the bar and the restaurant.
### A sale put aside
Put a sale on hold and pick it up later.

## What you get
- Bar and restaurant items in the catalog, as tiles with image and colors.
- Bar and restaurant inventory per warehouse; supplier cases broken down into units at receiving.
- Bill splitting in equal shares or by amount.
- Tips as sale lines, totaled in Reports.
- Quick cash amounts and an ESC/POS cash drawer.
- Put a sale on hold and resume it.
- Discounts typed on the cart or a line, with the right permission.
- Offline selling, outbox drained when the server comes back.
**Planned:** table service, open tabs, kitchen tickets, modifiers on screen, link with Revenu Québec's SRM.

## Questions about Bars and restaurants

### Is table service available?
Not yet. Table service, open tabs and kitchen tickets are planned. Today, the module serves counter sales.

### Is StillDeep connected to Revenu Québec's SRM?
Not yet. In Quebec, restaurants must produce their bills through a sales recording module (SRM). Check your obligations with Revenu Québec before selling meals with StillDeep.

### What happens if the Internet goes down during service?
The register keeps selling and holds its sales in its outbox. Card payments depend on your terminal reaching its processor.

### Which length should I choose?
One week for a festival bar, one month for a summer patio, one year for a counter open all year.
